Almost.every.day.
But, alas, our sweet little sunshine with those eyes that melt your heart truly is growing into a sweet little-big girl. Coming up on her *official* year of Kindergarten, she is full of ideas and questions and all that makes being Five so special.
Verity's birthday just happened to fall on a day that was abnormally warm for the season, a day that just happened to be one that Daddy had free, and a day that just happened to give reason for a fun trip to the beach! We loaded up the gang and a lunch and had a great time splashing and sunning.
Once we got home, we enjoyed Verity's cake she had picked out as well as her gifts.
I have to admit, we were all getting a little Birthday'd out by this time. Still, it was a treat to see her eyes light up with all the tokens of love she unwrapped.
Our sweet Dolly, Verity-Grace. She is just beginning this wonderful journey of learning how the Lord loves her and how he desires to shower her with the truth of His word and the power of His grace. When I see those sweet eyes sparkle at me, I am humbled and reminded of the meaning of her name and her life. She is forever a testimony of the message of the gospel in our lives. Please pray with us that this year will draw her closer to the Lord, through His word, and the redemption He holds for her.
