These are simply some precious moments....
At last the tournaments ended with a Melee(a fight between all of the boys at once), with the victorious knight being Sir Jonathan.
Much to these knights delight, our next occupation was the first course of our feast.
Menu~ Barley Pottage(soup), lettuce boats, Pease Pie, and Apple Cider.

After the first course the little girls, Joshua, and I entertained the guests with a play called
The Four Dancing Princesses....
~First, it is bedtime...(Kindy didn't want to sleep)
...but for some reason the princesses always had ruined shoes in the morning...
...they have been dancing all the time! And now the king can dance with them. But wait, the servant(Susannah) who solved the mystery must be rewarded....with a princess as his bride!~
The second course menu: Chicken roast, Seasoned mushrooms and green beans, Apple baked beans, and Seasoned fish flays.
The Bilodeau's birthday gift to me was this handsome, delicate goblet, made by Sir Jonathan.
There were a few foolish yellow jackets who seemed to have gotten drunk on the cider...and, well...we didn't have to worry about them after this.
Well, this usually means the meal was a success.
While we waited for the last course, we listened to some pleasant, medieval flute music and dancing.
How precious!
Kindy had to join in this jollity.
But, then something better came...
...Dessert! She waited so patiently for it.
We had, for the third course, ~Ruth's tarts, Zucchini bread with date frosting, Baked apples, Raspberry-date tart, and dried fruit.
And the whole regal party....
