A-Gardening We Will Go!

Our garden has expanded a bit this year, thanks to David and the boys building 4 more boxes.

We added more "garden mix" soil to the original boxes.

The tilling and raking are done.

And, thanks to Elizabeth's planning and planting the seeds and about an hour's worth of thinning in the lettuce beds today, we enjoyed our first harvest from the garden for dinner tonight!

 A beautiful Spring Mix of lettuce, spinach, swiss chard, and beet leaves.



For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
