Harvest of Blessings

The Lord's abundance of favor, provision, protection and gifts are worthy of celebration! We enjoyed preparing our hearts and home for a day to pour out our thanks for His harvest of blessings.

Elizabeth loves to decorate:

Many hands make yummy work!!

We went to bed eager to welcome our guests for a day of feasting and fellowship. The girlies had their rag curls in, the Thanksgiving dresses were all picked out. Turkey was in the oven for an overnite roast.

We woke with two sick children, and had to cancel our big party.  We still enjoyed a lovely day of feasting (well, those who weren't holding down the couch with fevers and aches).  But we missed our family sharing it with us.

Appetizers for Lunch:
Vegie tray, Stuffed Eggs (by Joshua), cheese & crackers with grapes, apple slices with caramel cream cheese dip

A grateful family enjoying a simple meal:
Spinach-Strawberry salad, Turkey & gravy, butternut squash (that overcooked...ahem), sauteed green beans, and stuffing.

"Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His mercy endures forever!"
