Words You Need to Hear

Last year our family was blessed to begin a new friendship on our trip cross-country. The short time we spent with this family encouraged us greatly and we have continued to be enriched as we've communicated and prayed for one another.

This year we are rejoicing with our dear friends over the arrival of their newest daughter, Verity Joy. She has a special place in our hearts and prayers. Not only because she shares a name with our own sweet Verity~Grace, or because she is part of a family so precious to us. Miss Verity Joy has been teaching us invaluable truths since the moment we were introduced to her via an ultrasound that her parents shared with us. In that ultrasound, it was revealed that the Lord had created Verity with an extra chromosome, thus blessing her with the unique life of a person with Down Syndrome. Through the journey that her family has begun, we have been learning and growing as well.
