The garden needed more sun so the guys took to trimming some bushes as well as taking down the neighbor's tree (he didn't mind the extra firewood).
A very kind friend came a few different times over the summer to help me replant and rebuild the front landscaping for the house. Check out these before and after shots with plants repositioned from her yard and ours. What a blessing!

And, with that landscaping looking so great, it only makes sense to put in a new walkway to match. :)
A killer deal on a new driveway...we couldn't pass that up.

And the harvest has been great!
I've so enjoyed cleaning up, trimming, planting, and reshaping our yard this year. It's so rewarding to see the outside of this old, dear house come back to life in bits and pieces. We still have more work ahead of us, but it's a labor of love, so we don't mind at all. These beautiful blooms that greet us through the summer months make it all worth the effort.
